AF162 SkyHound 120 Size Gyro Stabilized Helicopter with WiFi Camera - RTF from RotorScale - RSH1001-001
Practice your flying skills in the comfort of your own backyard with the RotorScale AF162 Skyhound. Perfect for flying in enclosed spaces with minimal wind, the AF162 Skyhound is affordable, quiet, gyro-stabilized, easy-to-fly and well supported by Motion RC's line of spare parts. The AF162 arrives "RTF" (Ready To Fly), and includes everything you need to begin flying within minutes except four AA batteries for the included radio transmitter/controller.
A built-in gyro system stabilizes the helicopter during flight, giving new pilots more time to learn how to fly. A unique optical sensor system also enables "One Touch Takeoff" and "One Touch Landing". Simply press a button to activate a brief auto-pilot mode that will either takeoff or land the helicopter!
The AF162 also features an FPV camera, and an accessory to mount most cell phones onto the radio. After downloading a free Android app, you can watch the FPV camera's video feed on your compatible Android phone screen while you fly, start/stop video recording, and take photos that are then automatically saved onto your phone. This basic camera setup is a good introduction to the wider world of FPV ("First Person View") flying.
Considering its built-in camera feature, the RotorScale AF162 SkyHound is factory painted in a sleek livery that references modern Air Force UAVs, wearing a two tone gray scheme and a BuNos of AF162 with classic "tiger mouth" nose art.
